The impact of heat and humidity on our bodies is very important! We have to adapt our training program and our perception of performance to the external conditions.
We have measured the impact of the weather with EArise Physiology sport solutions. 2 trainings at moderate speed (9,5 km/h; 10 and 11 km). The temperature was 33-34 degrees with 55-58% of humidity. I was not tired, I felt good. But my heart was beating very fast. Yesterday, most of the time, my heart beats were above 170/min (monitoring with our cardio belt+ and my watch) and on a previous day (our cardio belt+ and our software), I was in a high intensity training 1/4 of my run.
As a conclusion : take care and wake up early to train to reduce the impact of the external solutions on your body!
